About These Terms

These terms apply to the aptzo website, web portal and apps. By signing up a society, or by accepting an invitation to one, you agree to them. A person who signs up a society confirms that the society has authorised them to do so.

The Service

• Free Core: gate entry and visitor approvals, maintenance billing, receipts and collections, expenses with approvals, reports, notices, helpdesk, polls, amenities, documents, the directory and the privacy tools. It is free, carries no advertising, has no per-person charge and has no limit on approvals.
• Society Plus: extra features such as the balance sheet and trial balance, the audit pack, vendors, purchases, meetings, assets, patrol and payroll. It is charged per flat for the period on our invoice.
• Credits: SMS, WhatsApp and call messages use prepaid credits. A credit held for a message that fails is returned.

Accounts

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that email safe. A society's admins decide who joins the society and what role each person has.

What the Society Is Responsible For

• Having a lawful reason to record each person's data, and giving them the notices the law needs, including the gate notice for visitors.
• The accuracy of its own accounts, bills and decisions. aptzo is a tool; the committee remains responsible for the society's books.
• Its own bank account and payment gateway account. Money residents pay goes straight to the society's account. aptzo never holds or pools a society's money.

Acceptable Use

• Do not use aptzo to break the law, harass anyone or send unwanted messages.
• Do not try to get into data you are not allowed to see, test our security without written permission, or overload the service.
• Do not copy or resell the service.

Fees and Payment

Society Plus is charged by invoice. A society pays by UPI or bank transfer to Aravir Technologies and reports the payment reference in the app; Plus starts or continues once we confirm the payment. We will give at least 30 days' notice of a price change, and a change never applies to a period already invoiced.

The Society's Data

The society's data belongs to the society. An admin can export it at any time. We handle it as set out in our privacy policy and data processing agreement.

If Plus Lapses or the Service Changes

Free Core never depends on a paid plan. If Plus is not renewed, Plus features close, Free Core keeps working and no data is deleted. We work to keep aptzo available, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We will give notice before removing a feature societies rely on.

Ending

A society can stop using aptzo at any time and export its data first. We may suspend an account that seriously breaks these terms, after notice where we can give it. When a society leaves, we delete its data as the data processing agreement sets out.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to a society in any year is limited to what it paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. [Courts and seat to be confirmed in legal review.]
